Join us for our great 4 night holiday in England’s own “Bay of Naples”, Weymouth, situated on the gorgeous Jurassic coast of Dorset.
On the way down, we’ll be stopping off at Shaftesbury. This is Dorset’s only hilltop town, with wonderful views of Blackmore Vale. The must see sight of the town is of course, Gold Hill. This is a very steep cobbled street and was used in the famous Hovis advert. It’s one of the most photographed sites in Britain.
Our hotel in Weymouth is the very well reviewed, Best Western Hotel Rembrandt where we’ll enjoy dinner, bed and breakfast. The hotel facilities include Bars, Free WIFI, Gym, Indoor Pool, Restaurants, Sauna, Solarium, Spa Pool/Jacuzzi, and Twenty Four Hour Service.
We’ll have plenty of free time in Weymouth to explore the historic Weymouth harbour, the beach and the delightful town but will also have excursions for market day in Dorchester, with other trips to be arranged. We’ll be returning back home on Friday 31st July. Our journey back includes a stop at the delightful town of Wells.
